Serverless URL Shortener
• Designed and implemented a lightweight URL shortening service using API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and DynamoDB to convert long URLs into unique short codes.
• Enabled secure redirection and link expiration by storing time-limited records in DynamoDB with built-in TTL (time-to-live) management.
• Applied IAM policies to control function permissions and ensure secure, least-privilege execution of backend components.
• Used CloudWatch for logging invocation data and monitoring performance, allowing real-time tracking of shortened URL usage.
Personal File Backup System
• Developed a serverless file backup automation pipeline that copies incoming files from a source S3 bucket to a secure backup destination bucket.
• Leveraged Lambda triggers to process file events instantly and send email alerts via SNS when backups succeed or fail.
• Hardened security by configuring custom IAM roles to control access between Lambda functions and S3 resources.
